About Me
As the Operations Manager at Crafted Escapes, a luxury travel agency, I’ve focused on driving growth and refining company processes. In just 8 months, we’ve achieved a 135% increase in gross revenue and a 230% rise in trips booked, all while expanding our team from 10 to 13 agents. Notably, two of our agents have surpassed $1M in sales, with a few not far behind! My role has been centered around enhancing the client journey, optimizing our organizational structure, and implementing a new pricing strategy to better serve our clients and scale the business.
Previously, as the Director of Operations in the interior design industry, I brought a strategic approach to project management, streamlining workflows and ensuring timely project deliveries. This role allowed me to bridge the gap between creative vision and operational execution, contributing to the overall efficiency and success of design projects.
My journey in helping launch and grow early-stage ventures has been incredibly fulfilling, driven by a passion for fostering innovation and growth. I’ve played a hands-on role in navigating initial challenges, providing strategic guidance, and ensuring the successful launch of multiple startups. These experiences deepened my understanding of the entrepreneurial landscape and strengthened my commitment to creating lasting success in dynamic, fast-paced environments.
In addition to my work in travel and design, I’ve also ventured into the food and beverage industry, where I applied my entrepreneurial mindset to drive business growth and innovation. These diverse experiences have honed my ability to adapt and succeed across multiple industries.
I bring a dynamic blend of operational expertise, strategic leadership, and entrepreneurial insight, making me well-equipped to drive success and growth across various sectors and organizational scales.
On a more personal note, I’m happiest in the mountains. When I’m not working, you’ll likely find me hiking with my dog Mozzie, riding at the local bike park, or exploring backcountry trails on two wheels. I’m especially passionate about cycling—gravel, mountain biking, and e-MTB are all part of my regular rotation.
Travel and volunteering are also core to who I am. I love exploring Europe by bike, always on the lookout for hidden gems off the beaten path. With a background as a veterinary technician, I continue to volunteer at local shelters and veterinary hospitals, assisting with spay/neuter procedures, exams, and more. Humane education is a cause close to my heart, and I’m proud to support animal welfare in any way I can.
